If you don’t fall in love here you won’t fall in love ANYWHERE! For a truly amazing place to stay in Hawaii try the Vera Wang Suite…this one-of-a-kind designer suite is scrumptious and offers the ultimate in indulgence. Of all the places I’ve stayed in Hawaii this 2,135 square foot suite at the Halekulani Resort in Oahu tops the TRAVEL THERAPY list as one of the most romantic and luxurious. When I was checking in Kate Hudson was checking out…This suite is truly inspiring because…

Everything in the suite is personally designed or selected by fashion icon Vera Wang and this queen of couture wedding dresses specializes in romance. As soon as you walk into the suite you can feel Vera’s touch. Her attention to detail in designing this suite, from the elegant china and stemware, to the luxurious bed linens and hand stitched pillows to the Vera Wang candles, perfume and bath products, creates an experience like no other. As I wandered around the suite I felt like I was in a museum as each item seemed to tell a story, still the overall is warmth. This is the perfect place for celebrating love, life and happiness.

If you want to sit out on your own private 642-foot lanai and watch the waves crash against Waikiki beach Vera has cashmere blankets you can wrap around yourself and she has created a special menu of her favorite foods to indulge in.

Staying in this suite you even have your own private entrance and your own butler 24/7 to make sure whatever you need is provided.

At first I was a little uncomfortable with someone lurking around but he was amazingly kind and sweet and most of all discreet and if you don’t want him inside your suite making you drinks, helping you unpack and drawing you a bath, then he’ll wait just outside the door in his special office so all you have to do is call him if you need him and he’s right there. (There’s someone who does the overnight shift, so yes, he gets some rest). When he noticed I had sunburn after my surfing he quickly ran out and found me some aloe and then offered to make my favorite cocktail so I could rest on the lanai. He became our friend, a part of the magical experience of staying in this suite.

Staying in the Vera Wang Suite is $5,000 a night and while that sounds pricey I’ve tried other suites around the world that run much higher price and don’t even begin to offer half of what you have at this suite. You can’t put a price tag on how this suite makes you feel and I believe that makes this Vera Wang Suite… priceless.
