SWEET Beach Suite! Mexico

Now this is a one ultra-cool balcony with a million dollar view, a dining table, comfy loungers AND your own private infinity edge pool! Perfection! They say first impressions are everything… and when it comes to getting a feel for a resort that’s the way it usually works for me so I knew I’d discovered something special within minutes of walking into my oceanfront suite at the Tides Zihuatanejo at this new luxury resort in Mexico. To try and capture the magic I quickly snapped this photo of my huge wrap around balcony but this image doesn’t do it justice because the lightening wasn’t right to show off the amazing beach in the background. The first thing I notice was how…. Even with the windows and doors shut I could hear the waves pounding against the shore and smell the salty ocean that was just footsteps away. Everything in the suite is situated to take advantage of the ocean view, even the desk I’m using right now faces the water and you can even see the water when you’re showering. My first sunset here was so inspiring even though I only have a few minutes I wanted to write down what I could.  While this property is obviously beautiful during the day at night this Tides resort is transformed into a chic secluded hideaway and one of my favorite spots is a ultra hip lounge area where you actually sit on the floor, next to the beach surrounded by big fluffy pillows and sip cocktails!  There’s so much more to write about but I’m headed off for a special ATV tour of the area and then wrapping up the day at the petite spa where I’m trying a new treatment the Tides is the first to offer in the world. More soon!
