Luxe Vacation Rentals

If you’re looking for a place to thaw out this winter don’t miss one of the hottest vacation spots in the country, Arizona! If you do it right you can find some fantastic deals in Scottsdale, a golf and spa Mecca known for its incredible weather, world-class resorts, sensational dining, shopping and luxe living. Hotel rooms can easily set you back $400 night… so that’s renting your own private, fully furnished luxury condo is a smart way to go. Here are some insider tips on finding Arizona’s best vacation rental bargains!

First of all do the math. Even if you’re only staying in town a week it’s a much better deal to rent a luxury condo even if they charge for the entire month.

There are several great places to find the best deals. Vacationrentals.com always has several hundred Scottsdale condo’s listed, but if you want to be sure to find the perfect fit try going through a realtor in the area where you want to stay because they always have the inside track on exclusive properties.

Some sensational agents to try are David Van Omen and Andrew Bloom . They’re very well respected and have worked in the area for more than 25 years and are top sellers of luxury homes and condos so they REALLY know the markett. I’ve found they often have exclusive listings you won’t find on the larger rental sites AND they have access to some of the most luxurious and affordable properties!

Both agents specialize in the North Scottsdale area, the top spot for vacation rentals because just five minutes away you’ll find amazing resorts like The Four Seasons-Scottsdale, Fairmont Princess, Westin Kierland and Hyatt Gainey Ranch, all charging BIG bucks. A weekend at one of these resorts can set you back several thousand dollars where for the same price you can rent your own condo for a month! Again, even if you don’t use the entire month it’s still cheaper to have your own private slice of paradise for the time you need.

All the top rentals in this area have pools, spas, workout rooms and are fully loaded with all the luxurious extras down to the fine linens and champagne classes. Click HERE for one great example that just listed with local agent David Van Omen at Vanomen@cox.net. I’ve worked with this guy before to buy a home in Scottsdale and he’s fantastic, absolutely in “the know”.

Insider tip: if you’re looking to come in January or February reserve now because this area is filling up fast with the Super Bowl in Arizona and the annual Barrett Jackson Car Auction and FBR Golf Tournament.

Some individuals with condos are charging between $8,000-$15,000 a week ( seriously!) to take advantage of the crowds coming in, but before you lay down that kind of cash, shop around with some local realtors for deals like the one HERE and save yourself a lot of time and money!

** Word of warning**

Be prepared to fall in love with this part of the country. Once you visit you may never want to leave!
