Best Restaurant View

Talk about a table with a view! That’s why this is one of my favorite dining experiences in the world.

Hand built by Mayan masons, El Restaurante, at the magnificent Maroma Resort in Mexico, is the perfect place to start the day sipping a mimosa while staring out into the turquoise ocean.

The beach is only inches a way and it’s a beach Maroma says was named “The Best Beach in the World” by the Travel Channel. Trust me, when you’re there you can see why! The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and the chef creates his dishes using Yucatan inspired cuisine.

Don’t miss the guacamole made right at your table. On Friday evenings the tables are moved a few inches so you’re actually sitting right on the beach and you can slip of your sandals and wiggle your toes in the sand that’s as soft as talcum powder. Maroma has several other fantastic restaurant choices, I heard Tom Cruise took one of the chefs home with him and when we were there, there were several other celebrities dining next to us, but this one, right on the beach, is still one of my favorites for TRAVEL THERAPY, because you just can’t beat the view!!!
