Hawaii always seems a smart TRAVEL THERAPY choice when you’re looking for a romantic escape and one of the sweetest suites I’ve ever stayed in was the Halekulani in Oahu, Hawaii.  True, Oahu isn’t usually the first island that pops into your mind when you’re thinking of quiet romantic getaways but believe me this luxe designer suite is so ultra private it even has its own entry and butler. It’s also one of the most luxurious in the Hawaiian chain so it’s not surprising Vera Wang, designer extraordinaire of wedding dresses, etc, is responsible for this masterpiece.

 The Vera Wang suite opened several years ago and from the china and stemware down to the candles, perfume and linen, ever aspect of this stunning 2,135 square foot suite is perfection and the view from your own huge private lanai looking over Waikiki Beach is breathtaking. Your own private butler is standing by 24/7 to take care of whatever you need and mixes a mean martini! Staying here is a splurge, about $5,000 a night but worth every penny and the perfect choice to celebrate a special occasion or create new memories.
