Exciting news! Travel Therapy heads to Africa to highlight some of the incredible volunteer vacations set up to help children.

I have found one of the most amazing journeys you can take is to travel to a place where you can make a difference and give back.

In the TRAVEL THERAPY book that you can now order for more than 30% off by clicking on the link on this website or clicking HERE volunteer vacations are front and center.

Tips on how to pick the best  TRAVEL THERAPY volunteer vacations were featured on the hit national morning show FOX & Friends. You can watch the clip and learn more about affordable trips by clicking HERE.

Another great resource for more information about volunteer trips is Ambassadors for Children a not for profit group dedicated to helping children around the world, children who need it most. This photograph, featured with this story, speaks volumes, was taken by one of the organizers at Ambassadors for Children, Kelly Campbell.

By going to this organizations website you’ll have all the resources you need to pick a trip that fits how you feel you can best give back.

From traveling to Africa, Guatemala, Belize, India, Peru, etc,  the trips are as varied as the children they help, but all have the central theme in common of giving back and making an impact on other people’s lives.

Most of the volunteer trips range from a week or two and are set up with the focus of helping children but also give volunteers a chance to do some sightseeing so they understand the country they’re in and the people they’re helping.

There are different ratings on the trips depending on your experience level and difficulty of the trip, but I’ve found no matter what your age or your skills as long as you have the passion to help people… there’s a trip for you.

Coming up tomorrow a closer look at the two week volunteer trip I’m taking to Africa to a village where close to 600 children are orphans, in a country where it’s estimated of the 11 million living there, two million are orphans.

How can you make a difference? What can you do to help? Check out Ambassadors for Children and take one TRAVEL THERAPY trip you’ll never forget!
