When TRAVEL THERAPY heads to Mongolia this summer this is one of the places to stay, called Three Camel Lodge. This little gem is considered a luxury “ger” camp in Gobi’s Gurvansaikhan National Park. (say that three times fast!) A “ger” is a traditional felt tent used by nomadic herders but don’t worry the gers at Three Camel Lodge have heaters and beautifully carved and hand painted wood beds.

No worries because there are state-of-the-art bathroom facilities just a few steps away in the main building.

Meals include traditional Mongolia dishes all served inside a larger dining “ger” and there’s a fully stocked bar.  Entertainment for the evening includes traditional Mongolian hoomi (throat) singers, musicians, dancers and contortionists. No ordinary vacation here! This is your chance to truly experience a unique culture.

That’s the beauty about visiting Mongolia, there are so many opportunities to stretch your imagination to the limit and the Three Camel Lodge is just the begining.

Coming up a look at the different vacation packages you can choose from including everything from Horse trekking through Mongolia to an archeological dig.
