As the first new hotel in the luxurious Bal Harbour Florida area in the last 50 years, The Regent knew it was going to have to bring a lot to the table and one of the highlights is a huge new spa.  Believe it or not this photo isn’t of the spa but of a typical bathroom where you have floor to ceiling windows, a bathtub with a view and a rain shower with its own “toe tester”. A toe what? You’re asking. A toe tester is a place where you can dip you toe in and test the temperature of the water before getting into the shower. How totally cool is that! 

Okay, back to the spa. It has just opened so here’s what we know so far.

The Regent Bal Harbour Spa

·        Private bathrooms in each treatment room

·        Special “foot therapy” lounge over looking ocean

·        Vichy body treatments

·        Beachfront treatment cabanas

 I’ll have more once I go and check out this TRAVEL THERAPY destination myself this summer but wanted to share what I know so far. It’s always exciting when a new luxury hotel opens, especially in an exclusive area like Bal Harbour, Florida.
