If you’re looking for a top-rated hotel in Cancun one of my TRAVEL THERAPY favorites is The Ritz-Carlton and I’ve just heard from the folks there that they’ve won yet another prestigious award! 

Congrats go out to The Ritz-Carlton in Cancn for receiving the 2008 Triple Five Diamond rating for the resort AND for its two fine dining restaurants Fantino and The Club Grill. I’ve tried both and both are fantastic, especially the seafood!

I’m told the hotel is the only oceanfront resort in USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean that achieved these results. Here’s a quote from one of the top brass at AAA.

 I first visited this property in 2006 after it was almost completely rebuilt after a hurricane blew through. There are so many special touches here, like the afternoon tea and cooking classes that make this property truly special. If you’re looking for a luxurious place to relax in Cancun, check it out.
