Sugar Sugar Cocktail

No, I’m not making it up. Sugar Sugar is the name of this delicious TRAVEL THERAPY drink that the master mixologist at the Hawks Cay resort has created. Thirsty? Here’s the recipe. This new cocktail concoction helps kick off the opening of the renovated Rum Bar at the resort and it turned out to be one of my favorites. Actually the entire resort on Duck Key, in the middle of the Florida Keys, just re-opened after a 35 million dollar face-lift and it looks marvelous! Cheers to that! 

SUGAR SUGAR RECIPE

1 shot Oronoco Rum

 1 shot St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur

Splash of fresh grapefruit juice

Splash of Cranberry juice

Lime Wheel 

WHAT TO DO?

Add ice and mix all the ingredients together for at least 30 seconds before straining and pouring into a sugar rimmed glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and a sugar cane swizzle. Enjoy!
