I always love discovering a new TRAVEL THERAPY destinations and the Dominican Republic is full of all kinds of a new chic properties. The DR is still rugged enough to be off the beaten tourist path yet properties are smart enough to know how to cater to the luxury traveler.

 Maxim Bungalows actually has two resorts, one on the north side of the island in Cofresi and one on the south side that hasn’t actually opened yet. The Maxim in Confresi just opened in July and is already creating quite the buzz!
