One of the most beautiful beaches in the world and a TRAVEL THERAPY favorite is one of the Caribbean’s best kept secrets. Here’s why.

To get to this beach you have to sail to a remote island in the British Virgin Islands called Anegada. It sounds simple enough until you find out that this island is surround by shipwrecks, all victims of a wicked coral reef, called Horseshoe Reef that’s 18 miles long and is one of the largest coral reefs in the world.

On this secluded island you’ll find more than 16 miles of pristine, unspoiled beach with sugar sand beaches. My favorite area is called Loblolly Bay where you’ll find some of the most amazing snorkeling in the Caribbean. You usually have this beach pretty much to yourself. If you see 10 other people the entire time you’re there that’s considered crowded.

Every time I visit I worry that someone is going to discover this hidden gem and turn it into a destination hot-spot but so far that has happened. So if you’re going to visit. Go now so you can enjoy this sensational secret beach just the way it was meant to be.

Also, don’t miss out on trying the lobster when you visit Anegada, it’s phenomenal and cooked right on the beach so you can smell the delicious aroma from miles away.
