Aloha! It’s time to head to Maui if you’re looking for some incredible TRAVEL THERAPY deals. This Hawaiian Island is pulling out all the stops to attract travelers during this tough economy. One top resort is even providing guests with $300 gas cards they can also use at home!

I met with the folks of Maui Tourism this week and was expecting to hear the latest about spectacular spas and luxury resort offerings, but the even bigger news is what this gorgeous island is doing to offer special travel deals between now and the holidays.  The folks representing Maui say they realize soaring gas prices have increased air-fare to the island. To combat higher transportation prices many of the resorts are now offering free nights, special incentives like gas cards and kids eat free programs, plus much more. 

Maui is still marketing itself as the perfect island for a romantic escape or a family getaway. The island has so many options to choose from and now many of those options are available at a bargain rate! Other great deals include staying on the beautiful islands of Lanai and Molokai.  

If you’ve always wanted to visit Maui or have wanted to return but have been scared away by the airfare check out some of the special deals being offered throughout the island. When you add it all up it amounts to one HUGE savings and one amazing vacation!

Insider Tip: The specials are offered right now up into the busy holiday season. Thanksgiving is usually blocked out but some resorts are even offering special prices the first few weeks of December so check it out and be sure to ask for the any special rates.
