For my first TRAVEL THERAPY visit to the historic Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich I wasn’t sure what to expect. The five-start resort had been closed for more than four years for a $400 million dollar renovation. What could be worth almost a half billion dollars? Check it out. This legendary property that sits high on the hillside overlooking Zurich, now has two new wings and an impressive 43,000 square foot spa. In the new  spa and golf wings have hip, chic rooms that offer the ultimate in modern convenience and design. You can completely lose yourself in the huge soaking tubs while you take in amazing views of the city.  The new spa is beyond phenomenal and is the perfect blend of blissful treatments with a peaceful retreat. After indulging at the Dolder’s first-class restaurants you might want to check out the state-of-the-art workout facility or grab a mountain bike and hit the trails around the hotel.  

There is so much to take in at this newly renovated property you’ll want to stay at least several days. For a real splurge try one of the suites.
