The One&Only Spa in Los Cabos, Mexico, continues to impress with several new delicious treatments on the menu. A new TRAVEL THERAPY favorite is the Palmilla Chocolate Synergy Massage. The last time I visited the spa I tried the amazing signature pedicure and I swear my feet looked and felt re-born. For this last trip I couldn’t resist signing up for the 90-minute Palmilla Chocolate Synergy Massage.
One of my favorite things about this spa is all the intimate nooks and crannies where you can relax and rejuvenate and then when it’s your turn for your treatment your therapist takes you down this winding outdoor path into your own private spa casita.
We went to a couple’s casita and it was gorgeous. With an ultra private daybed and bath it’s easy to spend all day here.
This special chocolate massage was inspired by the Mayan culture and the One&Only has blended several unique massage techniques together to provide the ultimate experience bliss out experience. Before your massage starts you choose your own therapeutic chocolate oil while you’re given a foot bath.
Then a compress, that’s made up of thyme, Mexican arnica, wild parsley and calendula, is used to help ease the tension out of your muscles while warm chocolate oil is poured onto your body.
If you’re craving chocolate after all of this never fear because after your treatment you’re given a special chocolate tea to enjoy. It’s was the perfect TRAVEL THERAPY ending to a very “sweet” treatment!
