When you’re looking for a place to launch a book like TRAVEL THERAPY, that’s all about inspiring travel, you want to make sure the venue fits the vibe and I can’t think of a better fit than the famed New York Palace Hotel!  

The first time I visited this iconic property I was immediately impressed with the palatial yet chic and hip feel. The New York Palace Hotel’s 455 Madison Avenue address ( Madison and 50th) puts the property in the heart of all the action on the East side and the event rooms at the Palace are spectacular!

There are so many unique areas to choose from including the 5,000 square foot Triplex Suite where your posh three level space includes a roof top terrace.

The rooms inside the Palace’s Villard Mansion are some of my favorites. The library is a fantastic space and makes you feel like running out and writing another book.

But ultimately I think it’s the award winning GILT restaurant and the inspiring Madison Room with phenomenal views of the city that could be the perfect fit for the TRAVEL THERAPY book launch party.

GILT and The Madison Room captured my heart when I recently was at the restaurant for dinner and attended an event in the Madison Room. The decor is stunning and the feeling of the space is intimate yet still cutting edge. There’s an energy in the room that’s quintessential New York City.  

We’ll know more after visiting the property today and making a final decision about the venue. Very exciting stuff. Stay tuned!
