On the glossy, beautiful cover of the new TRAVEL THERAPY book there’s a gorgeous beach umbrella on the front that screams, “paradise”! Everyone is always asking me where that photograph was taken and in the same breath saying they need to go ASAP and that’s what TRAVEL THERAPY is all about!
Featuring more than 100 unique and inspiring destinations based on what you’re going through in life the new book TRAVEL THERAPY: Where Do You Need to Go? highlights different vacation options that fit what you need. Stressed out? Tired of hearing about the economy? Going through a breakup? Want to reinvent yourself or pay it forward? TRAVEL THERAPY can help because in this economy who can afford to take the wrong trip?
The cover of the TRAVEL THERAPY book was taken at Jumby Bay Resort, a private island in the West Indies that you can only get to by boat.
Still, everytime I look at photographs of Jumby Bay I want to jump right into the picture. With the book coming out it only made sense to spend this last week on Jumby Bay celebrating and kicking off another exciting TRAVEL THERAPY project!
Now you can follow the TRAVEL THERAPY journey in the book, on the website and blog and coming up in special travel podcasts and videocasts profiling some incredible travel therapy vacation ideas that fit what you’re going through in life! These are exclusive videos that I shot in High Definition to give you a true taste of TRAVEL THERAPY!
These top travel videos will highlight some of the best and affordable vacations ideas around the globe and show you how you can get the most from your travel dollars without sacrificing quality.
Even though I was “working” during my visit to Jumby Bay, shooting photographs and video for the TRAVEL THERAPY website and blog, it hardly felt like work because every morning I’d wake up with a stunning panoramic view of the Caribbean that almost looked too beautiful to be real. The color of the water always amazes me with more shades of blue than you’ll find in a crayon box. It’s absolutely therapeutic to walk on the sugar sand beaches and feel all your stress melt away. Jumby Bay is intoxicating and here’s a warning. You won’t want to leave!

To me this picture reminds me of a place called “Paradise” – simply beautiful!
I look very much forward to seeing some of those videos…hopefully also of this place here…called “paradise” -
Travel Therapy is great by the way – I just received the book that I ordered at Amazon and it’s a great piece!
Can’t wait to see the video! What a beautiful location. No wonder you put it on the front of your book. Headed off to Vegas. Any last minute advise? Don’t think there will be sugar sand beaches but that is next. I am catching up on my TravelTherapy!
Thomas, Thank you! I hope you enjoy the book and find the right TRAVEL THERAPY trip for you! The picture was taken at Jumby Bay, a private island in the Caribbean and it is Paradise—so much so …you don’t want to leave!
Love the new picture from Jumby Bay and I’m looking forward to hearing and seeing more, especially the video that you shot there.
Linda, thank you! The videos of the TRAVEL THERAPY destinations are fantastic because you feel like you’re actually there! They’ll be posted on this TRAVEL THERAPY website and blog soon! If I can just stop traveling long enough to edit them together!
Kat, if you’re headed to Vegas be sure to pack the sunscreen and while it’s heating up in the desert take a light wrap for indoors because it gets chilly with all the “bought” air that’s pumped in! Your best “bet” is enjoying all the fun venues, shows and dining opportunites. I hope Lady Luck smiles on you!
I can’t wait to see the videos!
What a brilliant idea! I love the concept! I know that Travel Therapy will transform how I travel. I’m already looking forward to the sequel.
We watched you on Fox & Friends this morning. What a fun person you are. Really enjoyed the interaction with the anchors! Your book is all that you say and more. I hope that you do well with it as I have shared it with my friends and they all love the glossy pictures and the little tests you take to make sure you are going where you need to go. See I am learning your key words!! Thank you for sharing I really enjoy your web site as well.
