Gossip Girl and TRAVEL THERAPY continue to stay connected, at least as far as top NYC hotels go!

Here’s the deal. First Gossip Girl shoots at the posh New York Palace Hotel and I have my TRAVEL THERAPY book launch party at Gilt in the amazing Madison Room. Same place Blake Lively had her 21st birthday bash. Then I have my after party at the Empire Hotel and now Gossip Girl is shooting at the Empire. Love it!

I’ve always picked the Empire’s Lobby Bar as the perfect place to meet friends or a date after work because the vibe is hip but laid back, a good place to share a bottle of wine or sip a mojito and catch up. But last week when I stopped by I was surprised to not only find a whole new delicious drink menu but now the Empire’s chic Lobby Bar also has a yummy food menu and live a DJ starting at 9pm and it’s all thanks to Gossip Girl…well okay, and a very smart Empire hotel management team!

Empire 2

With Gossip Girl now shooting at the Empire, the hotel is smartly cashing in on Gossip Girl fans who can’t wait to hang out and have their five minutes of fame where the hit show shoots in the Lobby Bar and sip one of the new sexy signature $15 cocktails named after the show’s characters.

Some of the TRAVEL THERAPY favorite Gossip Girl Cocktails include:

“S” ( Serina)

Zyr Vodka, Honey Water, Champagne and Lemon Pappabubbles

Thoughts: It’s sexy but still sweet if not a little confused

“B” ( Blair)

Bluecoat Gin, Blood Orange Bitters and Crystal Candy

Thoughts: It’s pretty on the outside, devious on the inside

I’m Chuck Bass

Dewar’s Scotch, red Apple, Ginger Bites and Apple Cider

Thoughts: Tart at first bite but then it gets sweeter and irresistible

Lonely Boy ( Dan)

Brooklyn Larger, Markers Mark Bourbon & Crème de Cacao

Thoughts: No frills, the real deal with a twist.

Georgina’s Mind Eraser

Vieux Carre Absinthe Wash, Don Julio Silver Tequila, Pomegranate & Atomic Fireball

Thoughts: It’s all good, until it isn’t… then it’s just dangerous.

xoxo

Figure me out

Thoughts: Smooth and sweet. Perfect way to end the night.

Fun, right?

So if you’re looking to check out the new transformation at the Empire’s Lobby Bar go by on a Tuesday night where a DJ spins some great Jazz and Blues.

Then on Thursday night don’t miss a complimentary featured cocktail from 7pm to 9pm while listening to live jazz before the DJ heats things up with top hits starting at 9pm.

Empire 3 rooftop

Make the night complete by taking the elevator up to the 12th floor where the Empire Hotel Rooftop Bar has a dance floor and one of the best rooftop views in all of Manhattan. Spacious, hip and always a great time, the vibe is constantly changing depending on what night you go, but one thing is guaranteed whether you want to just chill out and enjoy the view or heat things up with some dancing, the Empire’s rooftop bar is one of the best places to hang out on the Upper West Side.

xoxo!
