I love this week, Spa Week, when all across the USA and Canada you can get pampered senseless and find terrific spa treatments for just 50 bucks!  Here’s what you  need to know to take full advantage of the best deals and experience the ultimate in relaxation and stress relief AND save some money at the same time..

I just attended Spa Week’s fun launch party in NYC to find out what’s happening new this year and trust me this is one Spa Week you’ll want to head to your favorite spa or try out a new one! Last year close to 150 million people went to a spa and a lot more would probably go if they could afford it and that’s what Spa Week is all about, making it easier and more affordable for people to find a way to relax and stay healthy in their mind, body and soul.

A little background for you. Spa Week was created and founded by Cheryl Reid and actually started back in 2004, launching the 50 dollar spa treamtent idea. The whole point was to try and entice people who had never been to the spa or don’t go often to take advantage of the great 50 dollar offering and then hopefully they would become blissfully addicted and be repeat customers!

It worked! The first spa week was a huge success and lucky for us because now the discounts continue during Spa Week two times a year.

From October 10 to 16 hundreds of day spas, medical spas, resort spas, yogo and Pilates studios and other health and fitness centers will be offering up a very special price on luxury treatments, you guessed it, 50 bucks! I love that the price hasn’t gone up since Spa Week launched in 2004.

If you’ve ever had a spa treamtent you know they can get pretty pricey, usually up past the 100 dollar range, so being able to score top spa treatments for just 50 dollars, often more than half the price, during this next week is a huge opportunity to try out new treatments and new spas!

This week’s Spa Week also has some pretty cool sponsors including: ISPA, Wedding Channel, Ouidad, Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics, Vdara Hotel & Spa, CityCenter Las Vegas, Carefree, Dole, American Laser skincare and Allure magazine.

Some really cool products also come out of Spa Week and one of my favorites is the SPA WATER book by Pam Wenzel. It’s a beautiful glossy, picture book with all kinds of fun spa water recipes that show you how to make world class spa water at home! Making it even more fun, pick up the special Spa Week environmentally friendly double walled stainless stee, hot and cold, Spa Water Bottol. It’s as pretty as it is green friendly!

So how do you pick your 50 dollar treatments? First of all call your favorite spa or a spa you’ve always wanted to try and ask them what they’re doing for Spa Week then book ahead so you can be sure to get the treatment you want. You can also get some great ideas by following along on Spa Week’s Facebook page and checking out the Spa Week blog and Mobile APP and there’s even a National Gift Card Program.
