Four Seasons Hotel New York has just unveiled its new chic, hip and happening TY Bar, named after the hotel’s owner Ty Warner. With TY Bar’s massive 12×12 foot TV it’s the new hot spot in Manhattan to watch a special event and was my pick for a great Oscar viewing party!

This Four Seasons is a Travel Therapy favorite because I know I can always count on impeccable service in an inspiring setting and the new Ty Bar continues this tradition.

Designer Pierre-Yves Rochon impresses with a sexy bold red Art Deco inspired decor that is somehow is both relaxing and exciting.

A favorite spots to sit here would be at the gleaming 19-foot Imperador marble-topped bar or cozy up in front of the fire or in a corner on the extremely comfortable plush red velvet banquette.

TY Bar is also mixing up some pretty spectacular cocktails drawing inspiration from the classic cocktail era of the 1930s as well as creating some one-of-a-kind signature cocktails featuring local ingredients like custom barrel-aged spirits.

Ones to try the T.Y.N.Y with Belvedere Rye Vodka and Dry Vermouth with blue cheese stuffed olives and the Fashion Week Margarita, a TY Bar tequila blend shaken with Mathilde Poire and fresh lime juice.

Also, don’t miss trying some of the delicious appetizers with one of my favorites being the grilled shrimp.

Cheers to the new TY Bar!
