I always say if you have to deal with winter go big, really big and head to one of the top winter wonderlands in the world. Switzerland! I’m writing a special feature for the New York Daily News on the top reasons to visit the Swiss Alps. Sure, it’s cold, but no colder the freezing temps you get in NYC and you don’t have the annoying traffic, noise or stress. In Zermatt cars aren’t even allowed in the village. Love that!
It’s hard to believe I’ve already been home a week because Switzerland is still on my mind and in my heart. Next trip will have to be this spring to see the same destinations when they are covered with wildflowers instead of snow. Stay tuned for that!
